‘Treating the skin as a canvass,we looked at how Fontana would slash it to create a distorted, deformed surface from something that was initially flat.’ Amanda Levete

The Hills Place redevelopment posed a technical challenge for us, and was our largest project to date. The windows echo the ‘sharks-gills/Fontana slashes’ on the building façade. With the scale of the project, subtly differing windows on four levels and the compound curves of the desired shape, we decided to resolved this by combining technology and traditional craft.
