Delicate hardwood art display structure, inspired by Japanese Tokonoma, formed centre piece to Spring/Summer 2018 Show.

"Whilst the design is minimal, there is more to its' making than might first meet the eye. A large circular slab of Portland stone was requested to form the base, but no quarry in the UK could find a piece large enough. Instead, we employed the ancient technique of scagliola to create a stone like equivalent at a fraction the weight of actual stone."
