This is the third desk we have made for Designer Toby Kalitowski, and is the culmination of an evolving process which we first developed when making the Fireplace for Amanda Levete. 

This process produces accurate realisations of CAD drawings in a cost effective way. Parts were first machined in Polystyrene slightly below the required surface. We then applied a thin layer of Ebalta paste, and re-machined the surface to get the pattern for making a mould. The desk was ultimatly cast in Fiberglass, and finished expertly by hand before being sprayed, with dazzling results!
