This was the first occasion to be working for the British Museum, doing the renovation of their Persian exhibit on the east staircase and the upper gallery. This involved the restoration of their collection of 150 year old casts, and fabricating a steel structure to hang the casts in the original configuration of the Palace Gateway. The casts were repaired where necessary and their surfaced treated to 'bind' them, and coloured to look like the original artifacts. The steel frame was attached to the museum wall and the heavy casts winched into place.
