Outdoor Public Art Project
Flore Nové-Josserand:
"I was commissioned by Verve/Crest Nicholson to develop an outdoor work for the Paintworks quarter in Bristol, which they were redeveloping into a large residential complex with some work and live/work spaces.
My proposal was to make a set of sculptures for the central 'piazza' space, to help tie it together in a playful way, while also bringing in a polychrome and multi-material object that would be strange, beautiful, rich in texture and possessed with a slightly awkward, hand-made quality to contrast with the sharp definition of the site."
"a huge thank you to the team at WindsorWorkshop fabricators, to to Paul Bradburn for assistance throughout the project and to Thorbjørn Andersen for on-point support"
